No.1 Djokovic to have his French poodle as 'moral boost' in US Open

New York, Aug 30 (ANI): Novak Djokovic will have his beloved French poodle, Pierre, as his moral supporter when he steps into the Arthur Ashe stadium to play his first round US Open match against Indian ace Somdev Devvarman.
The world No.1 player was reportedly bogged down when Pierre was denied an entry to the UK during the Wimbledon.
But now the pooch, which has its own Twittr account, has been allowed to both enter the stadium and get snapped alongside his master.ccording to sources, Djokovic posed on an indoor court in Alpine, NJ, with the pup and his girlfriend, Jelena Ristic, reports the New York Post.
Pierre was even spotted by Djokovic's side last week when he took a break from training for a modelling shoot as watchmaker Audemars Piguet's newest brand ambassador. (ANI)
