New financial disclosures reveal Bachmann worth at least 912,000 dollars

Washington, Aug 16 (ANI): US Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has assets worth at least 912,000 dollars that includes her clinic in Minnesota and a family farm in Wisconsin, according to new financial disclosures.

According to the financial disclosures recently filed with the House, Bachmann and Associates Psychotherapy is worth at least 100,000 dollars, Bachmann Clinic Properties is worth at least 500,000 dollars, and Bachmann Farm Family LP is also worth at least a half-million dollars.

The Minnesotan congresswoman said she does not earn money from the farm but she reported between 5,000 dollars and 15,000 dollars in "farm income" from it in 2010, Politico reports.

According to the report, her overall minimum net worth is more than one million dollar, but Bachmann is also carrying at least 350,000 dollars in debt, a quarter-million mortgage and a 100,000 dollars business loan.

Her minimum wealth is up slightly from last year, the paper said.

Congressional filings list net worth in broad ranges, and Bachmann could be worth as much as 2.15 million dollars at the upper end, according to the seven-page filing.

Bachmann also reported that she accepted three privately funded trips, an excursion to Charlottesville, and two other trips to Florida.

Her husband accompanied her in the Heritage and Horowitz events in Florida.

The paper said that Bachmann's assets spread across a wide variety of investment funds, including savings bonds and money in two banks. (ANI)
