New Delhi, July 7 (ANI): Shekhar Agarwal, a 1977 batch IAS officer, on Thursday assumed charge as Secretary, Department of Defence Production in the Ministry of Defence.
Agarwal has a vast experience of working in Home, Finance and Personnel Administration, and has worked in all core areas of the Governments both in the Centre as well as in the State.
He was Special Secretary working in the Ministry of Defence for the last three and half years before assuming this new appointment.
He is also a Gold Medalist from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. (ANI)
