New York, June 18(ANI): Mexican police have arrested drug lord Marco Antonio Guzman, who had several aliases including "El Brad Pitt", on the Mexican side of a US-Mexican border town.
Guzman, who had a 42,000-dollar bounty on his head, is accused of being involved in a 2010 car explosion that killed a police officer and two civilians, as well as being involved in drug-trafficking operations across Chihuahua.
"It's a name given to the man by his associates. I guess they think he looks like him," The New York Daily News quoted a Mexico police spokeswoman, as saying.
The alias reportedly comes not from Guzman's resemblance to Brad Pitt, but from one of the many disguises the 34-year-old wore when he served as a lookout for a cartel in Juarez.
He would dress like Pitt in his role in the movie "Spy Game", wearing his hair long, with a baseball cap and a camera around his neck. (ANI)
