Melbourne, June 12(ANI): Australian captain Michael Clarke has spent the past fortnight on a self-imposed boot camp at Coffs Harbour to "keep out of the public eye as much as possible".
Clarke said that he wants to spend his free time with his family and friends, and keep his head down and focus on playing cricket.
"My personal life I want to keep out of the public eye as much as possible. It's a part of my life that I like being personal and keeping things to myself. I've learnt from what's happened in the past," Fox News quoted Clarke, as saying.
"I think enough of my life is in the public eye playing cricket for Australia, so the time you get with your family and friends, I miss that. I want to keep that between my family and friends," he added.
Clarke will now lead the team to Sri Lanka and South Africa later this year followed by home series against New Zealand and India. (ANI)
