Liverpool keen to recruit Cameroon ace

London, June 1 (ANI): Liverpool want to sign Cameroon's star winger Benjamin Moukandjo from Monaco.

Kop boss Kenny Dalglish may get the 22-year-old for a bargain fee after Monaco's weekend relegation.

Reports in France claim the Monaco forward is on Liverpool's radar if they fail to get Gervinho from Lille.

Monaco have been relegated in France so Moukandjo, who can play out wide as well as up front, is expected to move to Anfield soon.

Born on November 12, 1988, Moukandjo began his career 2003 with the Kadji Sports Academy. In 2006, he moved to Stade Rennais. In September 2008 he was loaned out to L'Entente SSG.

His contract with Rennes ended earlier than the scheduled date of June 30 2010 when he signed up for N?mes Olympique on August 31, 2009.

He joined Monaco in 2010. (ANI)
