Lahore, May 28 (ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board will question batsman Umar Akmal when it starts probing the Zulqarnain Haider's case.

Haider had fled from the team hotel in UAE during the series against South Africa, saying he had received a threat for refusing to co-operate in the match fixing.

The board has formed a three-member committee headed by Sultan Rana to inquire into the case, The Nation reports.

The committee would investigate whether there is credence to Haider's allegations that he was threatened with dire consequences for refusing to be part of match- fixing.(ANI)
