Obama's healthcare approval rating improves: Latest Poll

Washington, May 24(ANI): An Associated Press (AP) poll has revealed that most percentage of Americans approve of President Obama's handling of health care.

 

The poll, conducted between May 5 and May 9, shows that 54 percent of Americans approve of Obama's handling of health care.

 

According to CBS News, the poll has also found 54 percent respondents trust Democrats over Republicans on health care issues.

 

It also says that 54 percent of Americans think the federal government should not reduce healthcare spending to balance the budget, while 44 percent are opposed to the move.

 

As the contest for the Republican presidential nomination gains momentum, opposition to Obama's health care reforms has remained a litmus test for the candidates. (ANI)
