Beijing, May 18 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has boasted about his country's close and 'harmonious' relationship with China.
Speaking at the first bi-annual meeting of the World Cultural Forum with a theme "Dialogue and Cooperation for World Harmony and Common Development", Gilani said citizens of both the countries have benefited from their rich civilization, Indus Valley and Gandhara civilizations and the Chinese civilization, over several decades.
"The amalgam is not only beautiful but strong and precious. The themes of harmony resonate and form the national ethos of the people's of Pakistan and China," The Nation quoted him, as saying.
Gilani said Pakistan admired China's accomplishments, and civilisation.
"I have no doubt that Chinese sagacity and thought will have a profoundly beneficial impact for the mankind, as a whole. We are happy to see China shape the Twenty First Century world," he said, adding: "We continue to build new bridges and enhance connectivity between our countries." (ANI)
