Maradona receives warm welcome from Dubai fans

Dubai, May 15 (ANI): Football legend Diego Maradona of Argentina was given a rousing welcome at the Al Wasl Sports Club in Dubai on Saturday.

Clad in a casual blue tee shirt, bermudas and a baseball cap, Maradona walked in for an interaction with members of the Al Wasl team, who were training for their upcoming UFL game.

According to The Gulf News, the club authorities had, earlier last week, announced the possibility of Maradona visiting the club to take a look at their some of their new facilities.

After making a brief appearance early in the afternoon, the Argentine legend came back in the evening. heavily escorted in a Mercedes four-wheel drive. (ANI)
