Bush to go on two-day expedition with wounded US servicemen, servicewomen

Washington, Apr 18 (ANI): Former US President George W. Bush has said that he would join 14 severely wounded U.S. servicemen and servicewomen for a mountain bike ride through deserts.

 

"It's a 100-kilometer ride in the desert, and it's not a leisurely ride. It's a ride to herald people who were dealt a severe blow and said, I'm not going to let it tear me down," Fox News quoted Bush, as saying while complementing the group.

 

The bike ride, the "Warrior 100", will reportedly be continue for two days starting from April 25.

 

All the participants were either injured in Iraq or Afghanistan. (ANI)
