Chennai, Mar 17 (ANI): Chief Minister and Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M Karunanidhi will contest the April 13 Tamil Nadu assembly polls from Tiruvarur.
The DMK chief has never lost an election right since 1957, when he made his maiden entry into the electoral battlefield.
Deputy chief minister and DMK treasurer MK Stalin will contest from Kolathur.
The party has fielded General Secretary K Anbazhgan, who currently represents Harbour constituency, has been fielded from Villiwakkam.
The DMK has fielded 58 new faces and eleven women.
The party, which will contest on 119 seats, has allotted 63 seats to the Congress.
The polling for 234 assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu will be held on April 13. (ANI)
