Rawalpindi, Mar 5(ANI): A Rawalpindi court has framed charges against Pakistan's Law Minister Babar Awan in connection with a robbery and kidnapping case.
Civil judge Mehr Sarfraz Hussain heard the case on Saturday, which was filed in Rawalpindi's New Town police station.
A newspaper owner had registered the case against Awan about twelve years back, accusing the federal minister of robbing him of his cash after abducting him.
Awan appeared before the civil judge and denied the charges levelled against him, Samaa TV reports.
However, the court formally indicted Awan and also testified a witness account.
The court has adjourned the hearing until March 12. (ANI)
