Capsicum spray, Tasers used to break up Sydney wedding brawl

Melbourne, Jan 30 (ANI): Police used capsicum spray and Tasers to break up a brawl that happened outside a wedding reception in southwest Sydney.

 

Violence flared near a reception venue in River Road, Revesby on Saturday night, with some of those involved said to be wedding guests, reports the News.com.au.

 

On arrival, the police found no one fighting near the centre but soon discovered the fight had moved down the street.

 

They then used capsicum spray and drew their Tasers to restore order. Some people ran from the area.

 

Four men were detained and two released without charge.

 

A 26-year-old man from Belmore was charged with offensive behaviour and affray while A 20-year-old man from Marrickville was charged with affray.

 

Meanwhile, police have been unable to determine a motive for the fight and inquiries are continuing. (ANI)
