Moto E3 Power Gets Launched In India!

New Delhi, Tue, 20 Sep 2016 NI Wire

Over past many weeks, Lenovo had been rolling out teasers hinting at its new smartphone, to be launched under the Lenovo owned Motorola - now known as Moto. There were reports doing the rounds that Motorola was working on a budget device with high-end features.

And living up to their promise, the company has finally launched the much awaited Moto E3 Power. It is to note that the smartphone from Moto was launched during a live stream event on September 19, 2016 around 3PM. Users were able to see the launch live through Moto's official youtube channel. From the reports that have so far come across, the Moto E3 Power has been priced Rs. 7,999; which we believe is quite reasonable offer. For now it is going to be a Flipkart exclusive buy, and the sale would commence on September 19 at midnight. Also, Moto E3 Power is even eligible for the Reliance Jio's Welcome Offer.

Let us now explore the specifications and features of this device and find out what exactly it has in store for us:

Specifications & Features

Newly launched Moto E3 Power is said to be sporting a bigger battery than Moto E3, which has 2800mAH and Moto E3 Power instead has 3500mAh. The new device has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card. It has a water resisting nano-coating and supports 4G LTE connectivity along with VoLTE support.

For other features, the Moto E3 Power runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-and is a dual-SIM (4G+3G) smartphone. It has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor. At the camera front, the new device sports 8MP back camera with LED flash, which gives you impressive features such as 720p HD video capture and burst mode. For selfies, it has 5MP front camera.

As for the connectivity options, the device offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, other than 4G LTE. Its sensors are ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and an accelerometer. Lenovo has offers 2 years of free photo storage on Google Photos with the Moto E3 Power.

Availability

As mentioned, the Moto E3 Power is going to be available exclusively on Flipkart from September 19 midnight. It will cost Rs 7,999 but under promotional offer, Lenovo will give it for an exchange offer of up to Rs. 7000, but only valid till Tuesday midnight. There is also no cost EMI plan of Rs. 1,334 per month lasting for 8 months. You can also get a free 32GB microSD card along with Rs. 800 cashback offer on the SBI debit and credit cards. Under the offer, you will even be eligible to buy Moto Pulse headset for a abridged price of Rs. 499.

It is notable that Lenovo had first decided to unveil its Moto E3 smartphone in India, and this is what sources had anticipated too. But it changed the decision by releasing Moto E3 Power, which focuses more on the battery. And as we had pointed out above, Moto E3 despite being a superior version of the Moto E3 Power has a smaller battery of 2800mAH when compared to the Moto E3 Power.

Not just this, it has a RAM of 1GB only which is half of what Moto E3 Power has, same goes for internal storage also, which in Moto E3 is 8GB only. However, the expandable storage is all same.

Lenovo made the launch amidst much fanfare and also unveiled the fact that Moto E enjoys a massive 3 million plus users in the Indian market.

Let us hope that this new device also manages to win hearts.
