Chif Minister of Delhi Goes out Sometimes for Vipasana or for Worship Whenever Delhi Faces any Crisis and the People of Delhi Feel Helpless

New Delhi, 31st August: Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay has said the Delhi Jal Board of the Government is fully responsible for the pathetic condition of Delhi seen yesterday after the heavy rains. It is regrettable that whenever Delhi faces any crisis the Chief Minister of Delhi vanishes, be it at the time of the strike by the sanitation workers last year, scarcity of water in month of May or the continuous water logging problem this year.

He said that there is a strange Chief Minister in Delhi who goes out sometimes for VIPASANA or sometimes for worship whenever Delhi faces any crisis and the people of Delhi feel to be helpless.

Shri Upadhyay further said that such situation may be seen during the initial period of rainy season but the situation seen today in the last phase of rainy season in Delhi is the result of gross negligence. He said that it is regrettable that the Delhi Jal Board has not learnt anything from previous experiences and as a result Delhi was under water just after the heavy rains today.

The worst situation was seen near the flyovers and underpasses and it was due to the negligence of the engineers and employees operating the water pumps of the DJB.
