On this occasion National Vice President Shri Shyam Jaju said that the people of Delhi very well know the political anarchy of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal but after witnessing his present insensitivity towards the human relations today people of Delhi especially the women are very much agitated. He said that under Arvind Kejriwal’s Government who came to power with the help of making the security of women a prominent issue, the women are most neglected and harassed.

Addressing the people assembled for the Candle March Shri Satish Upadhyay said that today the people of Delhi are shocked by the working style of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Every person raises only one question that how a Chief Minister could be so much insensitive towards the woman worker of his own party who came to complain about her exploitation that he asked her to compromise with the persons exploiting her.  He said that this is condemnable not only from human point of view but also a crime in the eyes of law. As Chief Minister it was the responsibility of Arvind Kejriwal to handover the case related to the woman worker Smt. Soni to the police but failing to do so he neglected his constitutional responsibility and hence he is liable for action under criminal law.

Shri Upadhyay strongly condemned the AAP leaders who were telling today that Ramesh Bhardwaj who forced Smt. Soni to commit suicide is not member of their party. He said that the leaders who are saying after the death of Mrs. Soni today that Ramesh Bhardwaj is not the worker of AAP, why they remained silent in June, 2016 when the police lodged FIR against Ramesh Bhardwaj and he had to secure bail for it. He demanded that Chief Minister Kejriwal should either expel the leaders of his party who are accused of harassing women or he should admit that there is no place for women in his party.

Sardar R.P. Singh said that today the people of Delhi want to ask a simple question to the Chief Minister that if a member of his family faced such circumstances then would he have advised her to compromise with the criminals.

Leader of the Opposition Shri Vijender Gupta said that the case of the murder of Smt. Soni has exposed the reality of Aam Aadmi Party and today this party has become a party of persons who have no respect for women. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party had levelled serious charges against the BJP MLA in case connected with their woman MLA but their conduct in a case of ordinary woman worker shows what the party thinks about the women.
