People of Unauthorized Colonies have All Along Faced Hardships but The Water & Power cuts seen Under Kejriwal Regime are Unforeseen - Ramesh Bidhuri
New Delhi, 31st May: South Delhi BJP Workers led by MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri today protested at CM Residence against failure of Delhi Govt. to start drainage & other civic services in unauthorized colonies of Delhi more so in around 155 colonies in the South Delhi Parliamentary Constituency. Those in demonstration included BJP's South & Mehrauli District Presidents Shri Chhote Ram & Shri Vijay Pandit, District General Secretaries Shri Vikram Bidhuri, Shri Deepak Jain, Shri Jagmohan Mehlawat, Shri Ranvir Tanwar, Local Municipal Councillors Smt. Seema Pandit, Shri Gyasi Ram, Shri M. Nagrajan, Shri Satender Chaudhary, Shri Rampal, Shri Neeraj Gupta, Shri Kalicharan Sharma, Smt. Rekha Poswal, SC Morcha District President Shri Arvind Kumar, District & Mandals Office bearers.
South Delhi specially Mehrauli & beyond are almost parched with water reaching once in 3 days in most unauthorized colonies and in both urban & rural villages.
These 155 unauthorized colonies are facing worst Power Cuts of up to 6 hours a day in this sultry weather.
Addressing the demonstrators Shri Ramesh Bidhuri said that people of Delhi especially from unauthorized colonies & resettlement colonies voted for Kejriwal Government with great hopes but the Chief Minister has totally failed them.
Shri Bidhuri said despite Central Government's directive Kejriwal Government has not moved a single file for approval of unauthorized colonies or to start basic civic services for the residents living there. The people of unauthorized colonies have all along faced hardships but the water & power cuts seen under Kejriwal regime are unforeseen.
Shri Bidhuri announced that people of the unrecognized colonies of South Delhi will launch a massive agitation if Kejriwal Govt. fails to initiate better civic services within June 2016.
