Asus - the Taiwanese consumer electronic is all set to create a new benchmark of sorts with its Zen series. It is already known that the smartphone maker is growing with hopes of change and wants to take over the market with its amazingly innovative Zenvolution campaign.
Following its strategy, the company recently unveiled three of its new smartphones - Zenfone 3, 3 Deluxe and 3 Ultra. The launch of the devices took place at the continuing technology trade fair, Computex 2016, in Taipei.
Of the three smartphones, Zenfone 3 Deluxe is touted to be the elite model. It's being stated that the Zenfone 3 Deluxe happens to be world's foremost all-metal body-base smartphone that comes with an invisible antenna design. It is notable that most handsets that we've in the market currently come with plastic threads on top & bottom of device's back in order to help receive signals.
Bringing their unique touch in here the company has constructed Zenfone 3 Deluxe with a sturdy and light aluminium alloy unibody. It even has a rear facade free of hideous antenna lines.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe At A Glance
So far we know that Asus has tried to bring in a major difference by making Zenfone 3 a completely metal clad device. Talking of its other features, the device will come with a 5.7-inch full HD super AMOLED display along with fingerprint sensor on the rear side.
Moving on to other specifications, the device is supposed to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. For storage, it will have 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB inbuilt memory.
The device will have a high quality 23MP primary camera with Sony IMX318 sensor, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) with 0.03 second focusing aptitude, laser autofocus (with proprietary TriTech system), f/2.0 aperture, 3-axis electronic image stabilization for stable 4K UHD video recording and 4-axis optical image stabilization.
It will even sport the latest sensation in smartphones - quick charge 3.0 technology. Furthermore, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe will also have a Type C v3.0 USB port. So far it has been known that the device will have a starting price of $499 i.e. approximately €448 and in Indian currency Rs. 33,584.
Zenfone 3 Ultra
Next in line is the Zenfone 3 Ultra, the device is said to be a phablet that would have a massive 6.88-inch full HD screen. It's said to be housing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core CPU. For storage, it will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. And now that the display is so large, it's quite apparent that the device's battery would be no less. Reports have it that Zenfone 3 Ultra will come decked with a high-powered 4,600mAh battery.
As for camera, the features would be same as that of Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the price of it would be starting at $479 (about €431/Rs. 32,234).
Zenfone 3
Last but definitely not the least; we've the generic Zenfone 3 model which is said to be a feature-rich budget phone. The device is said to have 5.5-inch full HD super IPS LCD display backed by 2.5D Gorilla Glass shield.
It will be powered by 14nm FinFET process technology-based Snapdragon 625 SoC (System-on-Chip). As for storage, the Zenfone 3 will be decked with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with 3,000mAh battery.
In addition to this, it will even have a fingerprint sensor and 16MP camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, LED flash on its back and laser autofocus. The Zenfone 3 is supposed to start from $249 nearly €224/Rs. 16,775).
