Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), Moto G4 Plus Or OnePlus X: Find Out Which Should Be Your Next Buy!

With Lenovo owned Motorola coming up with its Moto G4 Plus alongside Moto G4 - OnePlus X and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) have got a close competition.

It's mainly because the three devices nearly share the same price value. Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) comes for Rs. 15,990, OnePLus X is available at Rs. 14,999 and the newly launched Moto G4 Plus which has two variants – 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM cost Rs. 13,499, and Rs. 14,999 respectively.

Display

The Moto G4 Plus and Galaxy J7 (2016) both come with a 5.5-inch display and have 1,080x1,920 pixel resolution and offer 401 ppi pixel density. The OnePlus X on the other end sports a slighter 5-inch screen backed by 1,080x1920 pixel resolution backed by 441 ppi pixel density.

Processor

In terms of processor, Moto G4 Plus is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. On the other end, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with a Exynos 1.6Ghz octa-core processor while OnePlus X has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Operating system

Talking of operating system, Moto G4 Plus runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow whereas OnePlus X runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. As for Galaxy J7 (2016), the version that was launched in China has Android 5.1 Lollipop. However, the versions as released in the U.S. and certain regions of South Korea come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Storage

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and the OnePlus X sport a 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card and also sports a 3GB RAM. The other two devices, Moto G4 Plus has a 16/32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card and a 2/3GB RAM.

Camera

It's indeed the most desired feature in a smartphone. Moto G4 Plus comes with a 16MP camera that has OmniVision Pure Cel Plus sensor, dual-LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). In terms of selfie it has 5MP camera backed by wide-angle lens. On the other end, Galaxy J7 (2016) sports a 13MP primary camera backed by f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5MP front-camera backed by f/1.9 aperture. On the other end, OnePlus X sports a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.14 µm pixel size, and 1/3" sensor size. It has 8MP front-snapper with f/2.4 aperture.

Battery

As for battery, Moto G4 Plus comes powered with a 3,000mAh along with Turbo charger feature which allows the smartphone to run for nearly six hours with only 15 minutes of charging. The Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with a 3,300mAh battery while OnePlus X sports a 2,525mAh battery.

Conclusion

If we talk of display, all the three smartphones share the same traits. Two of them have bigger screen while one has smaller yet sharper display. In terms of specifications these indeed share no major difference. You can certainly pick the one which sounds more appealing to you or wait for the final performance review that would make it clear which is the ideal buy!
