Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 1s, and Lenovo K4 Note: Should They Fear Moto G4?

With a new smartphone getting launched, the competition level gets a notch higher. Recently we saw Lenovo owned Motorola releasing its fourth generation - Moto G4 & G4 Plus. The Moto G4 hasn’t got an Indian release as of now. The makers have delayed the launch in India pertaining to certain reasons.

However, except for the Indian price version, we know many things about the device. And even if we take an assumption on the price thing then it might be somewhere around Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 12,000 because its higher version, the G4 Plus costs Rs. 13,499 for its 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM model and Rs. 14,999 for 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM model.

And we our assumption stands correct and we’ve G4 in the same price list as stated, G4 will have to compete with the likes of more popular choices like the LeEco Le 1s, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, and Lenovo Vibe K4 Plus.

So does that mean these devices will be surpassed by the Moto G4? Let’s have a close look at the specifications and other details of each device:

Motorola Moto G4

Starting with the newest smartphone onboard – Motorola Moto G4 comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at its home button and sports a metal body. It has a 5.5-inch full HD display backed by 1,920x1,080 pixel (401 ppi pixel density). It is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and runs the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB through microSD card. Talking of camera, it comes with 13MP main camera backed by features like dual LED flash, PDAF and auto HDR. There is 5MP selfie camera which has wide-angle lens. The device comes with a 3,000mAh battery backed by Turbo charger which as per the company claims offers you 6 hour usage by just 15 minutes of charging.

LeEco Le 1s

Next is the LeEco Le 1s – the smartphone has a metal body and is available at price of Rs. 10,999. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS In Cell display backed by a 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density). The device is powered by Mediatek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based on its own eUi OS. In regards to memory and storage, the device has 16GB/32GB internal storage but there is no microSD card slot and has a 3GB RAM. It sports a 13MP primary camera which has features like ISOCELL 5P Lens and for selfies it has 5MP front-camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has a 3,000mAh battery.

Lenovo Vibe K4 Note

The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note comes with a plastic body and has features like fingerprint sensor and NFC. It is available at Rs. 11,999 and has 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 1,080x1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density).

It has Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI 3.0. the device has 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB. It also has a 3GB RAM. At the camera front, the handset has 13MP central camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP front-camera. The battery size is 3,300mAh battery and is non-removable.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (32GB)

This device has turned to be a hit among the Indian masses and has so far sold around 600,000 units in the country. Available at Rs. 9,999, it has 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density). At storage front, the device has 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM model.

The other variant is priced Rs. 11,999 and has 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM. Both the variants have a metal body and run Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. It works on the MIUI 7.0 based Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It has 16MP central camera with f/2.0 aperture and for selfie it has a 5MP front camera with f/2.0. The battery is non-removable and is sized 4,000mAh battery.

The battle is really tough and it would be interesting to see who earns the crown!
