On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities which is celebrated annually on December 3, around the world. This year, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi saluted the determination of the disabled people and wished them on Saturday.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “I salute determination of our Divyang sisters and brothers and convey my best wishes to them.”
He said, “Let us continue our ongoing efforts with renewed vigour and create a nation where both accessibility and equality prevail.”
He encouraged them to enhance their way of life. The Prime Minister also said about the equality in nation.
The UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) has been celebrated annually across the world since 1992.
In order to promote the awareness about the people with disabilities as well as to encourage them by implementing a lot of assistance in their real life to enhace their way of life and remove the social stigma towards them this day was greatly emphasized to celebrate.
