Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Is All Set For Its Release In India

Samsung has some amazing flagship series under its belt which have succeeded in impressing consumers in the past, and continue to do so.

One such series is its Galaxy J series, which is considered as one of the most accepted pocket friendly top smartphones in Indian market. And in the J series, it’s Galaxy J7 that happens to be the star. The Samsung Galaxy J7 is highly reasonable and packs dominant features. First Samsung came out with the Galaxy J7, then came the Galaxy J7 (2016) and now it’s time for the Galaxy J7 (2017).

Yes, buzz has it that Samsung is working on Galaxy J7 (2017), which will soon be released in India. With this, budget devices will have another competition to face. 

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017)

It is highly notable that Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) earlier came online, and at that time Samsung had not even announced the device officially. Galaxy J7 (2017) was spotted on a number of smartphone portals under the garb of model number SM-J727V. It was even seen on Zauba, a website that deals with export and import and is associated with the impromptu Galaxy J7 (2017).

Talking of the release of the Galaxy J7 (2017), sources said that Samsung is planning to release the smartphone in the beginning of year 2017. In fact, the South Korean has already imported sample Galaxy J7 (2017) devices to India for testing. From Zauba, one can make out that the device is priced around Rs. 15,000.

Specifications & Features 

Coming to the features and specifications, Galaxy J7 (2017), as said is going t be the improved version of Galaxy J7 (2016). It has been learnt that Galaxy J7 (2017) will house 5.5-inch Full HD display, along with 13MP main camera and a 5MP front camera. It will have a new chipset, probable by Exynos, and 3GB RAM.

As for the battery, it has been learnt that Galaxy J7 (2017) will have 3,000mAh battery, as its precursor has a superior 3,300mAh unit. 

For now, we have very limited information about the Galaxy J7 (2017). Things would get clear once we have detailed information about the device. But, we can have a quick look at its predecessor to get an idea of what all changes we can expect in Galaxy J7 (2017).

Galaxy J7 (2016)

Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED touch screen backed by 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). It measures 151.7x76x7.8 mm and weighs around 170 g. It is clocked at 1.6GHz octa-core processor, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

At the storage front, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) has 16GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB through microSD card. It is said to have 2GB RAM. Talking of the camera, the device has 13MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash. There is 5MP front-camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash for selfies. It comes with a removable battery of 3300 mAh battery that offers a talk time of Up to 23 h (3G). 

Looking at the features Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) offers, we surely expect the new version to be slightly different and more profitable. 

Samsung Galaxy J series have already released two of its other J series devices which include the Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime, available for Rs. 14,790 and Rs. 18,790, respectively. 

J series have always been the budget devices, and we expect the same from Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) too, but as said the real picture would be out once Samsung makes the official launch. Till then, please stay tuned to this space for all updates!
