BJP Workers Burn Effigy of Minister Jitender Singh Tomar

New Delhi, 29th April: Delhi BJP workers led by state President Shri Satish Upadhyay today demonstrated outside CM Kejriwal's residence to demand the dismissal of Delhi Minister Shri Jitender Singh Tomar who has been accused of presenting bogus educational degrees. The workers burnt effigy of Shri Jitendra Singh Tomar amidst slogans like Farzi Degree Ka Nahi Chalega Khel, Jitendra Singh Tomar Ko Bhejo Jail.

BJP leaders and workers gathered near Trauma Centre, Ring Road and marched raising slogans towards Chief Minister's residence around a kilometre away where the police stopped them at a heavily guarded barricade. Prominent amongst those leading the demonstration Shri Satish Upadhyay, MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, MLA Shri Jagdish Pradhan, Shri Ashish Sood, Smt. Rekha Gupta, Prof. Rajni Abbi, Shri Jai Prakash, Smt. Shikha Rai, Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, Shri Sahab Singh Chauhan, Shri Ram Narayan Dubey, Shri Radhe Shyam Sharma, Shri Yogender Chandoliya along with Pradesh, District, Mandal & Morchas office bearers.

Addressing the demonstrators Shri Satish Upadhyay said that the Kejriwal Government has shamed the political system. It is really disgusting to see that a man who professed morality under his regime we have Minister with bogus degree, a Minister who is a land grabber while a third has been accused of patronage to mafia dons.

Shri Upadhyay said that BJP will not let this Government who's Ministers and even MLAs are spreading anarchy go scot free. We will not allow Shri Jitendra Singh Tomar any more do Government work. We demand his dismissal and arrest for the forgery and filing false documents with his election nomination papers.

MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri called upon party workers to constantly dial and lodge the complaint of political and educational corruption by Shri Jitendra Singh Tomar on the anti corruption helpline no. 1031.

BJP Leader Dr. Nand Kishore Garg said that he has been highlighting the bogusness of educational claims of Shri Tomar but now with the appointment of amicus cure by the Hon'ble High Court no efforts of Delhi Government will be able to save Shri Tomar from conviction. He said that Shri Tomar is now saying that the matter is subjudice and he will present his degrees in the court which is 100% U-Turn on Kejriwal's announcements that in public life it is the perception that matters and not the legal points.

MLA Shri Jagdish Pradhan, Shri Sahab Singh Chauhan, Shri Jai Prakash, Smt. Rekha Gupta, District Presidents also addressed the gathered demonstrators.
