Satish Upadhyay said "Kejriwal Government's lethargy led to NGT ban on plying more than 10 years old Diesel vehicles"
New Delhi, 14th April. A delegation of small transporters of Delhi met the BJP Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay today at the Pradesh Office and it apprised him about the problems arising out of ban on plying more than 10 years old diesel vehicles including the problem of their livelihood and shortage in the supply of fruits, vegetables and other essential commodities.
Shri Upadhyay said that Kejriwal Government's lethargy led to NGT ban on plying more than 10 years old Diesel vehicles because this government did not submit the fact before the NGT that hon'ble Supreme Court has already fixed 15 years as the life of diesel commercial vehicles in Delhi. In this situation the order of NGT is contradictory.
Assuring the transporters of full cooperation by Delhi BJP Shri Satish Upadhyay said that he will soon meet the Union Transport Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari along with the delegation of the transporters.
