In his twit, PM Modi said "Tributes to the great Veer Savarkar on his Punya Tithi. He ignited the spark of nationalism in several lives."
Veer Savarkar is well known for his work during the freedom struggle against the British rule. Savarkar was born May 28, 1883 and died Feb 26, 1966.
He was know for his notable contribution to the social causes. He initiated the great way of singing the devotional songs the bhajans. His most prominent work was regarding the social harmony.
