Kejriwal is stooping to fulfill political ambitions :BJP

New Delhi, Sun, 25 Oct 2015 NI Wire

Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay has said that the letter written to the Lt. Governor of Delhi and released to media today by the Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has thoroughly exposed him. It is a proof of his total disregard for federal democratic values.

The way Shri Kejriwal has written to the Lt. Governor regarding property tax dues on D.D.A. is an example how low a Chief Minister can stoop for petty political reasons. If D.D.A. has to pay any municipal dues Shri Kejriwal has all the right to raise the matter but then bodies like Delhi TRANSCO, Delhi Jal Board, Power Discoms in which Delhi Government is partner, VAT Department too have to pay hefty property tax dues to all three Municipal Bodies in Delhi.

Shri Upadhyay has asked the Chief Minister has he written to heads of all these departments or has his Government decided to immediately release the dues on these departments under his Government to bail out the civic bodies?

Delhi BJP President has said that in a democratic system Chief Ministers do write letters to Governors and often they can be containing administrative disputes or demands but we can hardly find a precedent where a Chief Minister releases a letter written to the Governor even before it is read in the Raj Niwas.

It is really sad to note that how low Shri Kejriwal and his Government are stooping to fulfill political ambitions.
