Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) has said it will not allow the people living in the unauthorized colonies to be made pawns in the hands of the BJP and the AAP party.
Ex-MP Shri Sajjan Kumar said those leaders who indulge in double-speak were trying to mislead and misguide people, while such leaders were not uttering any word for the welfare of the poor people living in Delhi. He said the Congress party had always stood by the poor people and worked for their welfare, and they should not come under the influence of the BJP and Kejriwal, who were only playing vote-bank politics, as they were two sides of the same coin.
He said Kejriwal had struck a deal with the BJP to work against the Congress party in the Delhi Assembly elections to help out the BJP. He said it was true from the fact that none of the AAP MLAs had done any development works in their respective Assembly constituencies.
Shri Arvinder Singh people were leading a miserable life in unauthorized colonies as all development works in these colonies had been stalled. He said when Congress was in power in Delhi, development works were carried out in unauthorized colonies, like construction of roads, laying of power, water and sewer lines.
Ex-MLA Shri Ram Singh Netaji, criticizing the former local BJP MLA, said he had not bothered to visit his constituency after winning the last Assembly election from Badarpur.
