BJP and APP had totally misled the people through false promises: Congress

New Delhi, Sun, 18 Jan 2015 NI Wire

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Arvinder Singh said the people of Delhi have now fully realized that the BJP and the APP party had totally misled the people through false promises. He said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal have completely forsaken an important issue like women’s safety and security.

Arvinder Singh appealed to the people of Delhi to ask just one question to the BJP and the AAP party leaders when they come to ask for their votes why the power tariff had not been reduced. He said before the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP leaders had promised to bring back the black money parked in the foreign banks, but now they were totally silent on the black money issue, but why?

In the Tilak Nagar Assembly constituency, a Road Show was held from RZ Chowk, in which DPCC president Shri Arvinder Singh, Congress candidate Shri Dulichand Lohia along with thousands of Congress workers and common people participated. This Road Show went through Vikas Puri and Tilak Nagar before reaching Ashok Nagar where Congress candidate Shri Dulichand Lohia said the local people had reposed their hope and faith in the Congress party, and as a result, the BJP and the AAP were totally demoralized.

Arvinder Singh, addressing various public meetings at different Assembly constituencies, said the time had come to elect the Congress back to power to resume the stalled development works in Delhi by teaching those parties, who had betrayed the people of Delhi to stall the development works, a bitter lesson in the Delhi Assembly elections on February 7.
