Commissioner of Industries Sh. Amit Yadav after Business Facilition Council meeting informed that, in order to have a structured mechanism for regular interaction with the industrial associations and organisations regarding their issues for setting up business, the Government of NCT of Delhi has set up Business Facilitation Council (BFC).
The interactions in BFC have resulted in generation of valuable inputs for ease of doing business in Delhi. As a result of these interactions and exchange of ideas, many changes in the Delhi Master Plan , MPD-2021 relating to industrial areas and norms were taken with the DDA. Accordingly, changes in MPD-2021 related to industrial areas have already been carried out by the DDA and some proposals such as restriction of size of industrial plots, necessary requirement of provisional registration of industrial units are under active consideration.
The 13th meeting of the Business Facilitation Council was held with the representatives from the Industry, including Apex Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Delhi Factory Owners Association etc, CII and the various stake holder Government departments under the Chairmanship of Shri Amit Yadav, Commissioner of Industries.
A number of agenda items were discussed during the meeting including recent order by the Industries Department regarding simplification of the process in respect of documents required for issue of acknowledgement under the part-I of MSME Act, taking up of redevelopment work in industrial areas and desilting of drains in industrial areas as part of preparedness for monsoon.
