In a bid to celebrate the 215 th birth anniversary of the British paleontologists Mary Anning, search engine giant Google has posted a doodle on its homepage. The doodle clearly indicates the working of the Mary Anning with her searching activities for fossils and its hunting.
According to sources, Mary was known for her hobby to collect fossils of the Jurassic periods. It is said that she dedicated her life in search of and work of collecting fossils from the Jurassic period. She use to collect these fossils near her house situated in Lyme Regis Dorset.
Anning was born on May 21 st in 1799 and she dedicated her entire life in scientific activities including prehistoric life and study about the earth and life.
Google has remembered her contributions by placing an impressive doodles on its homepage. Google always dedicates its doodles to such kind of activities.
