Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) accused the BJP and the Sangh Parivar of chickening out of Shri Narendra Modi's election campaign as the 3D publicity campgain was cancelled not due to technical reasons, but fearing lack of support from the people to match the tremendous crowd response the Congress rallies had attracted, and the Modi bubble has been totally burst in Delhi.

DPCC president Arvinder Singh, MLA, CLP leader Haroon Yusuf and senior leader and chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma, while talking to reporters at a joint press conference at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan here today expressed their concern that the BJP could create social unrest on the polling day, and therefore the Pradesh Congress has written to the Election Commission to deploy more security personnel at the minority-community dominated areas.

The three leaders also expressed their gratitude to the people of Delhi for their total support and large participation at the Congress rallies. Arvinder Singh and Haroon Yusuf appealed to the Block Congress Committee presidents to deploy maximum number of Congress workers to help out the voters on the polling day in Delhi’s 11,763 polling booths and 2527 polling stations. They appealed to the citizens of Delhi to exercise their democratic rights and turn out in large numbers to cast their votes.

They said the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party have been totally rattled, and the BJP, once again taking cover at the Mandir-Masid issue, was trying to polarize voters. They appealed to the people of Delhi to be fully vigilant on the polling day. They said on the polling day on April 10, a control room would be setup at the Pradesh Congress office where a panel of lawyers would be on duty. Shri Arvinder Singh expressed the hope that the Congress will emerge victorious in all the seven seats in Delhi.

Mukesh Sharma said Arvind Kejriwal’s dharna was a political drama. He demanded an enquiry into the attack on Kejriwal by his auto-owner supporter so that his drama could be exposed. He said the Congress condemned such incidents, as such a culture was started by the Aam Aadmi Party. He asked Kejriwal that when leaders of other parties were slapped, why was the AAP calling that as the anger of the people, and he should also clarify whether it was not the anger of the people when crores of rupees were collected in donations from them by AAP and then betrayed them.
