New Delhi, Sun, 16 Nov 2014 NI Wire

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson and senior leader Mukesh Sharma said the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party were not only the enemies of those living in unauthorized colonies, but the development works in these colonies were stopped whenever the BJP came to power. Shri Mukesh Sharma said this while addressing the Congress workers and local people during his Jan Jagran Abhiyan padyatra at Vipin Garden and the Commercial Enclave at Mohan Garden in West Delhi here today.

From morning till evening, Shri Mukesh Sharma, during his padyatra, made door-to-door visits of the residents of Vipin Garden and Commercial Enclave at Mohan Garden to have direct interaction with the voters.

Mukesh Sharma said the pension of a large number of old people in the area had been stopped, and the BJP leaders were not only insulting them in the name of renewing their old age pension, but there were also proofs of the BJP leaders demanding three months’ pension as bribe for resuming the old age pension. He said during the past 11 months, not only the development works in the area had been stopped, but the power load capacity of the people have been forcefully increased, and as a result, the residents of the area have stopped paying the power bills.

He said on the one hand people were fed up with the massive power bills they were receiving, and on the other hand they were being harassed with constant power cuts. He said criminals in the area were having a free run under the protection of the BJP leaders, and the people were now scared and fed up with the rising crime graph in the area.
