Imphal, April 17 (IANS) Voters were seen queuing up at polling stations early Thursday to vote for the second Lok Sabha seat of Manipur, officials said.

A total 874,704 voters, including 446,909 women, are eligible to vote at 1,406 polling stations, where 7,030 poll officials have been deployed.

Just eight candidates are in the fray for the Inner Manipur constituency.

This is the second round of polling in the state. The first round of polling for the other Lok Sabha seat saw a voter turnout of 82 percent.
