New Delhi, Mar. 7 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Spokesperson Ashutosh on Friday said that expressing someone's views in front of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi might lead a person to jail.
"Narendra Modi has already started considering himself as the PM of the nation. You cannot express your views before him. If you do you might have to face the jail," said Ashutosh.
"If Arvind Kejriwal was not allowed able to see him, how will the common people of the nation be able to meet him and if wanted to meet the CM of Gujarat, there is nothing wrong with that. This shows that a common man is not able to interact or express his issues infront of Modi," he said.
He further said that the party would send a reply to the election commission on time.
"We will follow the procedure and send a reply to the election commission on time. The PWD has not given any notice to Arvind as yet. He does not want to stay in that house for long," said Ashutosh.
"He is staying there as his daughter has her examinations. He will pay rent for that house and would not stay there for free," he said.
Former Delhi chief minister headed to the Ahmedabad airport to leave for Delhi after failing to get an appointment with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
"We will meet Narendra Modi whenever I am given an appointment," Kejriwal told media here.
Earlier, the Gujarat Police stopped Kejriwal's car mid-way when he was going to meet Modi at his residence.
Kejriwal was proceeding towards Modi's home to meet him with a list of 16 questions, without seeking appointment.
Earlier in the day, Kejriwal dismissed Modi's repeated claims of Gujarat's development and said that he will head to the Chief Minister's residence to meet him with a list of 16 questions.
"What we saw in Gujarat is quite shocking. It's opposite to what was being said. We are going to meet Narendra Modi at his residence. If he is free to meet us, fine. If not, we will return when he gives us an appointment, said Kejriwal, who is in Gujarat to verify the development claims often made by the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
"There was a lot of talk about how progressive Gujarat has been, but what we have witnessed in last two days is the exact opposite. We will go to Narendra Modi's residence now and ask him 16 questions," he added. (ANI)
