Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit stated that Congress government has nurtured the values of harmony and brotherhood in Delhi and Congress is the only party which has been kept alive the spirit of unity and secularism. The Congress government in Delhi has been complimented for ensuring non occurrence of any communal trouble.
It is noted that Malyali mentor Madvan Nair, Prof. Omchery, Domink Presentation, MKG Pillai and Kuttappan along with hundreds of Malayali people today met Delhi CM Smt. Sheila Dikshi to express their full support to Congress Party in Delhi Assembly elections. Senior Congress leader and Delhi CM Smt. Sheila Dikshit welcomed all of them at her residence.
Chief minister Sheils Dikshit said, “We are going to face a very crucial election on the 4th December. I feel very confident that Delhi will take the correct decision. If people want development in every sector and ‘inclusive growth’ then there is no choice other than the congress party. I can tell you with absolute confidence that if Sheila Dikshit has done work it is because of the inspiration I get from the party to which I belong. If I was not a congress person I don’t know whether I would have been able to achieve all this because right from the beginning, we are trained to think and to act in a particular manner" She added.
Sheila Dikshit stated that Congress party is committed to make Delhi a more prosperous and people friendly city. She added that there are enough employment opportunities in the city; hence people aspire to settle down in Delhi.
Our party would strive for a single command to facilitate early implementation of the projects as multiplicity of authorities has been creating hindrances, hence resulting in the delay.
Dikshit claimed that the Congress party is all set to meet any challenge from the opposition and we are confident of our victory. People remembers the development undertaken by the Congress government, hence they cannot afford to slow down the pace of Development.
