Nippy Wednesday, rain likely Thursday

New Delhi, Nov 6 (IANS) It was a cloudy Wednesday with a nip in the air for Delhiites. The India Meterological Department has forecast light rain Thursday.

The maximum temperature Wednesday was two notches below the season's average, at 27.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature also settled two notches below average, at 12.9 degrees Celsius.

Humidity wavered between a high and low of 96 percent and 44 percent.

Weather office forecast rain for Wednesday also, but in vain.

The first half of Thursday might see light rain, an official of the IMD said.

Thursday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 25 degrees and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.
