Karachi, Apr 12 (ANI): Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has shown his faith on the leadership of Test and one-day captain Misbah-ul-Haq, saying that he is the right man for the job to lead the squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
Stating that Pakistan stand a good chance in the upcoming event which will be held in June in England, Afridi said that both Misbah and Twenty20 captain Mohammad Hafeez are leading the team on the right track, the Express Tribune reports.
Afridi, who dismissed rumours of a rift between the two Pakistan skippers, further said that both Misbah and Hafeez present a good combination for the team, adding that if the team plays to their complete potential, then they have a good chance of getting the desired results in the Champions Trophy.
Afridi also expressed his discontent on the pitches being used for the ongoing domestic tournament, saying that faster tracks needed to be prepared which will help the players in training for the Champions Trophy. (ANI)
