New Delhi, April 9 (ANI): Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, along with the entire cast and crew, unveiled the first look of 'Aashiqui 2' in Mumbai.
The duo also launched the music of their upcoming movie.
The filmmakers got emotional because they missed late Gulshan Kumar, who was an integral part of their original movie 'Aashiqui'.
"Yes, it's indeed an emotional moment for me and everyone here. I still remember the day when Gulshanji came and met me," Mahesh said.
"He said, let's make a musical film and from there the journey started," the 64-year-old added.
Mahesh also praised Kumar for his extraordinary vision.
"I bow down my head to Gulshan Kumar, who was an unusual man of vision and a genius," he added.
Meanwhile, the lead pair of the film- Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor- were also seen having a gala time at the event.
Kumar's daughter Tulsi Kumar sang a song from the romantic musical flick at the event and said that it was her father's dream to make her a singer. (ANI)
