Abu Dhabi, March 25 (IANS/WAM) The emirate of Fujairah in the UAE and South Korea's Tongyeong city have signed an agreement to become twin cities.
Officials said the agreement would strengthen economic, cultural, educational, tourism, arts and sports cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Fujairah Municipality director general Mohammed Saif Al Afkham and Tongyeong mayor Dong-Jin Kim.
Recalling his visit last year to the emirate, the mayor said Fujairah's fast-paced development in different sectors and its antiquities make it a excellent tourism destination with high investment potential.
