The incident occurred Wednesday midnight in Sahibabad. On Ajay Katara's complaint, an attempt to murder case was registered against nine unidentified people, said Superintendent of Police City Shiv Shankar Yadav.
In his complaint, Ajay Katara said that Wednesday night he, along with his security guard, was returning to his residence in Ashok Vatika when the attack took place.
In a trial held in Delhi, Ajay Katara's testimony helped the prosecution get the accused convicted in the case.
