Serena, Djokovic, Roddick and other Big guns in 2nd round of US Open

Serena Williams eased her way to 2nd round of US Open by defeating CoCo Vandeweghe 6-1, 6-1. Serena took 55 minutes to defeat CoCo in the match played at National Tennis Center in New York.

Serena, three-time U.S. Open women's singles champion said,"I didn't hit anything too hard, because the ball I wouldn't have known where it was going to go".

In another match defending champion Novak Djokovic defeated Italy's Paolo Lorenzi by 6-1, 6-0, 6-1 and moved to 2nd round in just 73 minutes.

Number six Tomas Berdych defeated David Goffin by 7-5 6-3 6-3

20th seed and former champion Andy Roddick was the best to watch. 30 year old was serving superbly like he used to during his start. He gave no chance to 21 year old. Andy Roddick defeated Rhyne Williams by 6-3 6-4 6-4.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga also advanced in the second round of US open. He defeated Karol Beck by 6-3 6-1 7-6(2).

Agnieszka Radwanska beat Nina Bratchikova by 6-1 6-1 and Elena Vesnina beat Peng Shuai by 7-6(5) 6-1 to make their way to second round of US Open.

Serena sister Venus Williams has already made her way to the second round. She beat Bethanie Mattek-Sands by 6-3 6-1 in the first round.
