Under 19 World Cup: India defeats New Zealand to enter in the Final

Under 19 team of India has defeated New Zealand team by 9 runs in the semifinal match of Under 19 World Cup and has entered in the final.
India will now face Australia on 26th August 2012 in the final of Under 19 World Cup.
In the semi final match, India playing first made 209 runs on the loss of 9 wickets. Opener Prashant Chopra made 52 and with Unmukt Chand who made 31 gave a solid start to India. Baba Aparajith made 44 and India ended making 209 in 50 overs.
While chasing New Zealand also put up a strong fight with Fletcher making the most runs 53. Indian bowlers Sandeep Sharma, Ravikant Singh and Harmeet Singh took 2 wickets each while Kamal Passi and Aparajith got 1 wicket each.
The semifinal match was played at Played at Tony Ireland Stadium, Townsville.
