Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes now divorced officially

Actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes separated officially after their divorced was signed by the judge in the final judgment.

Cruise and Holmes, who were married for five-years ended the relationship on Monday.

The final judgment came in less than two months after they filed the letter of divorce officially.

The former couple entered negotiations almost straight away and last month, the final settlement was made in favour of Holmes to give the primary custody of their six-year-old daughter, Suri, while Cruise got extensive visitation rights, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Both Cruise and Holmes met in April 2005 and got married in Italy in 2006, a year after their meeting.

Now Holmes and Suri will stay here and Cruise, 50, will share his time between New York and Los Angeles.
