Entry into CA through CPT is going to become difficult. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is all set to change the rules of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) conducted twice a year from December 2012.
After implementation of this new rule the candidates have to score 30 marks in each paper of all the four papers of CPT in addition to aggregate 50 marks.
In the current scheme of examination, the candidates have to score 50 marks in aggregate.
With changed format the CPT Examination and entry into CA (Chartered Accountancy) is going to be difficult. And students have to prepare for the examination keeping these things in mind.
The proposed changes will come into effect from December 2012.
