Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrated in capital with greetings of 'Eid-Mubarak'

Like all part of the countries, capital Delhi also celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr with great triumph of prayers, feasting and togetherness as it was the end of the holy month of Ramzan on Monday. It seems like a day of colors for all and capital celebrates Eid with full joy.
The traditional greetings of 'Eid Mubarak' was mixed in the surroundings of capital which was witnessed by colourful celebration especially in mosque where thousands of Muslims gathered at all over the city.
After the prayer of Namaj, people wished each other and exchanged of gifts. Also Eid was the occasion for them to say Eid mubarak to his friends and relatives and a day for marketing and then dinner.
Certainly it was the Jama Masjid, which witnessed the main celebration where the main attraction was present. The historic Jama Masjid has its own historical importance and people gathered here with full joy and togetherness.
However in the backdrop of the ethnic violence in Assam and thousands of people from the northeast fleeing places like Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune following rumours that they would be attacked, Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the shahi imam of Jama Masjid, said people should not fall prey to rumours and maintain peace and calm.
On the occasion, Imam Bukhari said, "I appeal to the Muslims to not fall prey to rumours. Maintain peace and calm wherever you are."
It is noted that Delhi Police have made elaborate security arrangements in the city for the successfully celebration of the festivals. Even Delhi Police have arranged proper traffic arrangement near the mosques so that the traffic can be run smoothly during the celebration.
