50 Killed and many injured in serial Attacks in Iraq

There were coordinated bombings and shootings in 12 cities and towns all over Iraq on Thursday that has killed almost 50 people and has injured hundreds.

5 died and 70 were wounded in a car bomb explosion in Kut city (160 kms away from Baghdad).

10 soldiers and 10 other were killed when Gunmen went on a shooting rampage near a checkpoint in Meshahda (30 kms away from Baghdad).

These attacks are held when Iraqis are marking the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

These killings have taken the overall death toll from violence this month to 167.
