Yahoo to investigate 400,000 users' emails, passwords online hacking

Leading Internet firm Yahoo is investigating an conspicuous security breach that has resulted in the leaking of over 450,000 login names and passwords online.
A hackers belonging to a group namely 'D33Ds Company' posted the account information of the leaked accounts on a public website describing it as 'a wake-up call'.
"We hope that the parties responsible for managing the security of this subdomain will take this as a wake-up call, and not as a threat," the hackers said in a message in a post along with the leaked data.
However, the hackers did not notify from which Yahoo site the user data had been obtained from.
Moreover, a report on TrustedSec blog has claimed that the targeted Yahoo site was Yahoo Voice, a voice-over-IP (VOIP) service launched by Yahoo in 2010, The Telegraph reports.
Earlier, the service was called Associated Content, but Yahoo renamed it as Yahoo Voices.
Meanwhile, a Yahoo spokesman confirmed that the firm was still probing the reported breach and further details could not be provided now.
