Pranab to meet Bal Thackeray for his support

United Progressive Alliance (UPA) presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee is all set to meet Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray for his support in the coming prez polls. It is noted that Shiv Sena has announced to support Pranab Mukherjee for the national interest.

Mukherjee will meet with Bal thakeray and will be accompanied by Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and other top state Congress leaders, besides Sena leaders.

Mukherjee who is busy in these days for his campaign to the candidature for the presidential post, is in Mumbai on Friday.

He will also meet leaders of all state political parties supporting him and express his gratitude at a function in Nariman Point in south Mumbai in the evening.

It is noted that Bal Thackeray has announced earlier to support Pranab Mukherjee candidature who is UPA candidate. Shiv Sena which is an ally of NDA has decided to support Pranab like another ally JD(U) from NDA.
