Lack of convergent thinking in Rahul Gandhi: Prasad

Bhartiya Janata Pary (BJP) has taken stance on the comments of Union Law Minister Minister Salman Khurshid and said that the Congress general secretary has no clear convergent thinking. Party has expressed its surprise over the comments by a senior party leader in which he is saying that Congress is being directionless.

Senior party leader, M.P and spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad commented on Khurshid?s remarks and said that it is surprising that it has come from a senior minister of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, which is led by Congress from last nine years. If Minister has said that Congress is directionless then country is in a state of drift, he added.

Referring to the Khurshid's remark about Rahul Gandhi, Prasad said that is very comical which he has commented on him. Rahul Gandhi had shown only cameos of his thought and ideas, which means that Rahul who is projected as the leader in the future has no clear convergent thinking and it is being confirmed by a senior government minister," he added.

Prasad said that the state of drift is not good for the country and all this only shows underachiever Manmohan Singh has nothing to comment on this.

Khursihd's comment also raises fingers on the functioning of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, he added.

It is noted that Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid has said in an interview with a leading English daily that Congress was not getting any ideological direction from Rahul Gandhi who had shown only cameos of his thought and ideas.

However Khurshid has blames media for the wrongly interpretation of his statement.
